1- Sun Diner – Best Breakfast Experience

To savor the best breakfast experience with Southern hospitality, come to the Sun Diner. This gem place has a retro ambience with modern culinary flavors. 

One step inside, and you will see walls flooded with frames. Seating is very cozy, too – they have a bar-like seats. Nonetheless, I usually come here for their creme brûlée French toast that melts in your mouth. 

This Broadway breakfast joint will also let you experience the bar-like scene; they have great music playlists that swings mood. The staff is friendly and welcoming, instantly serves food, and talks to you smiling. 

2- Another Broken Egg Cafe – Delicious Bagels

This inclusive breakfast spot is nested on Commerce Street, just a few minutes from Broadway Street. They have an extensive breakfast menu, traditional menu, seasonal selections, and kids menu. 

The place is a little bit busy, but it is worth trying their exclusive pumpkin waffles – very tasty. I suggest you come earlier to get the best seating and savor breakfast in tranquility. 

Along with the day’s first meal, you can also enjoy their special signature cocktail; undoubtedly, this is a haven for cocktail connoisseurs. their Bloody Mary drink is always the best bet. 

3- Ole Red – Best Breakfast And Brunch Spot

Ole Red is more than a restaurant; along with the delectable breakfast here, you can enjoy the full country experience. The musicians always entertain you and make your day more special. 

Blake Shelton, the man behind Old Red, is a musician and has their scratch-made dishes and signature drinks. The tater tots, nachos, pulled pork, cakes, cookies, and much more are on their breakfast menu. Don’t forget to dry their drinks as well. 

This establishment also has a rooftop to enjoy the iconic views; the roof is a hub of electrifying music, dance parties, club lights, and other amenities. There are also some LEDs to enjoy the sports. 

4- The Pancake Pantry – Best For Pancake

As the name suggests, this establishment is a haven for pancake lovers; with 23 scratch-made variations of pancakes, you can start your day with more delectable food. 

Along with pancakes, there is much more to enjoy, including waffles, French toast, hash browns, sandwiches, and more. This place is small, having intimate seating, but the environment is too clean and well-managed. 

Besides its delectable pancakes, the friendly and attentive staff sets The Pancake Pantry apart. The service was exceptional, and our server was happy to recommend some of their specialities.

5- The Diner Nashville – Best For Waffles

Next to the Pancake Pantry is another gem place called “The Diner Nashville”; the spot is famous for its mouthwatering waffles. Thankfully, they have huge and ample seating areas to peacefully enjoy breakfast, offering 7 floors for different dining experiences. 

Step inside, and you will see the clean and more formal vibes; everything here gives off a sense of serenity. Plus, the large window makes the dining hall more breathable, and you can enjoy the skyline of Downtown. 

Their breakfast menu includes waffles, toasts, gumbo, chicken wraps, burgers, special Nashville cheese steak, and more. The BBQ lover will also find something special here. 

6- McDonald’s – Familiar Taste

You’re aware of MacDonald’s. They offer intuitive services and food. Regarding breakfast, you won’t regret trying their egg McMuffin, hotcakes, and McGriddles.  

But one thing that can get you in trouble is the absence of self-ordering kiosks, so when there is a teeming of people, you must join the queue to order breakfast.

But luckily their service is fast so you don’t have to wait long for your order to get prepared.

If you’re looking for a quick, familiar meal while exploring the heart of Nashville, this McDonald’s is a reliable choice. It may not be a gourmet dining experience, but it serves its purpose well when you want something convenient and consistent. 

7- Stationairy – Vintage Look

The Stationairy is the best spot to relish breakfast in ancient British architecture – the high arched ceilings, ornate fixtures, and rich wooden accents present a unique experience. 

There are many items on their breakfast menu, but the banana bread french toast makes it even better. You can also pick their cakes, biscuits, tacos, avocado and more. Even the brunch platter is enough to feed your stomach.

Unlike the other Downtown restaurants, the Stationairy opens its doors at 7 o’clock in the morning, so if you are habitual to getting up early in the morning, you can visit this spot. 

They offer different cocktails and libations, but they are overpriced. 

8- Milk & Honey – Best Pastries

Milk & Honey came into existence in 2008, and this is a child branch of the Money Family Restaurant Group. Since its inception, they have maintained its delectable taste, which is why it’s a famous breast joint on Broadway in downtown Nashville

The main highlights of their menu include waffles, pastries, honey butter biscuits, juices, sandwiches and more. This hidden gem is also the best place for coffee lovers; they offer a wide selection of coffees.  

Moreover, they also serve dinner and lunch, and their menus are too diverse. Like their food, the place is comfortable, too; the staff is very friendly and offers quick services. It is good to know that parking near this establishment is free for an hour. 

9- Adele’s Nashville

This Adele’s Nashville is one of the ideal breakfast spots Downtown; casual and elegant vibes will make you feel comfortable. They have a nice, intimate outdoor patio with cozy seating. 

On Saturday and Sunday, they offer brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Here, you can try different items, but their salmon is outstanding. The chefs are highly skilled and experienced and know what they are doing. 

You can also catch the salads; roasted beets and gem lettuce are always in my favorite bucket. 

Adele’s is not just a breakfast place; it’s also known for its creative cocktails and an impressive wine list. The drink selection complements the cuisine perfectly, and the bartenders are true mixologists crafting unique and tasty beverages.

11- The Nashville Grange – Best Avocado Toast

For top-notch and most luxurious breakfast, visit the Nashville Grange. The Nashville Grange is nested near Gulch – an upscale neighborhood known for its luxurious hotels. 

Everything is professional and sophisticated, from the environment to the way to breakfast. Their breakfast sandwich menu is best; you can try a pickle fried chicken or ribeye sandwich. 

Try their Tennessee omelet, ricotta pancakes, and avocado toast to savor the best local taste. Moreover, you can also visit this haven for lunch and dinner.

Comparatively, their food selection seems exceptional and very favorable. If you have a sweet tooth, don’t forget to dry biscuits and gravy. 

Overall, this gem brunch spot is a haven for foodies, having a wide array of breakfast menus, a clean atmosphere, friendly staff and the best seating area in the town. 

12- Hopsmith Nashville – Best For Biscuit Lovers

This breakfast restaurant offers all amenities to showcase the local Nashville experience. Whether you’re a biscuit lover or want to try out some of the best sausages in the town, smith Nashville is the best place. 

Last week, I tried their buttermilk biscuit and was not disappointed with the taste. Brunch nachos, bagels, and waffle bites are also very tasty. 

Unlike the east Nashville brunch spots, this one is a little busy; you must come early to catch the best seat. However, don’t fret regarding seatings; with an outdoor patio, finding the best spot is too easy. 

They also have a small bar, offering various delectable libations and cocktails. So, if you love drinks, you can satisfy your taste buds here. 

13- Frothy Monkey

Frothy Monkey on Rep. John Lewis Way North in Nashville, TN, is on few minutes walk from. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the warm, friendly staff.

I visited for breakfast and was blown away by the delectable options on their menu. The “Best Breakfast on Broadway” indeed!

Their fluffy pancakes and biscuits were simply outstanding, and the hot chicken option added a delightful Nashville twist. The combination of flavors and quality ingredients left a lasting impression.

The cozy ambiance, with its rustic decor and local artwork, creates a unique and comforting atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for both locals and tourists.

Plus, the service is impeccable. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about their offerings, which only adds to the overall experience.

Final Thoughts – Best Nashville Breakfast Places

Downtown Nashville has always remained my favorite destination for the best breakfast experience. Whether you want to try the best waffles, sausages, bacon, biscuits, or egg benedict, the Broadway in Downtown is always the best. 

Most of you get confused because you will find a wide array of breakfast items, but don’t forget to try local Brunch dishes.
